The Franchise Canada Show returned to Vancouver on November 3 & 4 and it was one to remember! With over 1,600 prospective small business owners in attendance, we set record numbers for the show on the west coast and helped match entrepreneurial Canadians across the Vancouver area with some of Canada’s most beloved and iconic brands.
As aspiring entrepreneurs made their way to the Vancouver Convention Centre, they were treated to a revamped show with the unique opportunity to network with credible franchisors, attend informative franchising seminars, access an exclusive VIP Panel Discussion and hear from a successful franchisee at our new Franchisee Spotlight stage.
Both days began with a new VIP Panel Discussion moderated by business growth and franchise specialist, Angela Coté. VIP ticket holders got early access to the show floor and sat in on our expert panel, which included an established franchisor, franchise consultant, funding expert, and legal expert.
In-between networking with over 50 exhibiting franchisors, including McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Pearle Vision, Fatburger, Speedy Auto Service, and more, attendees had the opportunity to sit in on our franchising seminars. Covering a variety of pertinent topics, including how to finance a franchise and how to conduct proper franchise research, these seminars gave attendees an efficient overview of what to expect when taking the plunge into business ownership.
And for the first-time, the Franchise Canada Show brought its Franchisee Spotlight to the west coast with successful Kumon franchisee Denio Di Lascio hitting the stage. Denio shared his journey into franchising after immigrating to Canada, took audience questions and gave his personal franchise advice.
